Product characteristics:
‘Cappelli’ durum wheat is considered the ancestor of today’s durum wheat, uncontaminated by mutagenesis. Therefore, a product that has not undergone genetic modification, so as not to give up flavour and traditional content to the advantage of high yield.
Undergoing minimal processing, it has a SHELF LIFE (conservation of the product in optimal conditions) of 4 months.
Ideal for the preparation of bread, pasta, pizza and cakes. Pasta and baked products made with Senatore Cappelli wheat have an intense, aromatic fragrance and a rich taste.
Low gluten content
It has a low gluten content which ensures easy digestibility and assimilation. The fibre contained in the bran, which envelops the grain, is an excellent remedy for constipation.
